  1. Hi all,

In order to create the menus I'd like to for my DVD, I'd like to convert different video sources (i.e. MPEG, MPEG2 and maybe some other formats) to .mpv, does anyone know of a tool I Can do this with please so I can use .mpv with my DVD lab pro?

    Thanks.

  2. I am not quite sure, whether ProjectX creates .mpv or .m2v (if there is any difference at all).

  3. hmm it appears to create M2P, does anyone know if DVDlabPro can use M2P files as menu transition videos instead?

To clear up confusion, MPV is just the elementary MPEG video, here's the description from the Glossary (at left.)

    MPV
MPEG-1 or MPEG-2 video elemantary stream(no audio). Also called M1V for MPEG-1 video and M2V for MPEG-2 video.

If you have valid MPEG2 files, you can just demux them with DVDLab Pro .

For other formats, you need to encode to DVD Mpeg2, see the Tools section if you don't have a program to create MPEG2, i.e TMPGENc, CCE, Mainconcept, Procoder, etc.
