My Setup:
DVB-S Reciever with a "scart to s-video" cable connected from the reciever to my nvidia capture card to get video (works perfectly!)
At the moment I capture the audio from the reciever with a regular audio cable(RCA left/right) which goes straight into my audiocard's line-in input.
However, since my dvb-s reciever also has a digital audio-output, s/pdif(coaxial), I'm wondering if I would be able to capture the audio in a more lossless way if I use the receivers digital output(s/pdif). I'm thinking of purchasing an audiocard with s/pdif input or is the analog way, which I use now, as good as the digital when capturing?
Someone who knows?
