  1. Hi.

Is there any media player that has the ProLogicII Technology? I mean this to get ProLogicII in 5.1 speakers, without having an expensive speaker set (like the Z-680, with built-in PLII).

I just wanna play a Stereo MP3 in this player, and have the same software separate it to 5.1.

    THANKS!

DPLII is coded in matrix inside a two channel WAV - you won´t need a special standalone player - the only thing you need is a amp which detect this special WAV and decode it

In German those amp starts at a price from about EUR 150~200, special speakers are also not needed - the should only map the complete spectrum ~40-20000Hz (a subwoofer possibly is a nice addition)

You should find a ediquate solution in your country, too.

I think he wants to play it on his PC. I know PowerDVD has PLII, but I don't know of any freeware or commercial mp3 players that have it. Given how badly mp3 compression screws up the stereo seperation, I doubt PLII would do a great deal for you.
