There are a milllion programs to do what you're asking for. I personally use PGP Desktop and Kremlin, but there are simpler/faster/easier solutions out there.

  4. ABI-CODER will encrypt files very nicely. Remember that your encryption is only as strong as your key.

I'm using the latest version of Stealth. I use it to hide my password list in a JPEG, but also to encrypt all my customer data and invoices.

If I'm reading this right... you want to hide files or folders without encryption correct? Just right click the file or folder in question. Select "properties". Tick the "hidden file" option under file options. Your files are hidden but not encrypted.

The downfall of that is if the computer has the "show hidden files and folders" option checked on, you still see them - they are just shaded lighter, but you still see them.

I was just offering a no-encryption solution to the original post. I do believe the original poster requested to hide files without encryption. Maybe I shouldn't have taken the post so literally.

I wasn't dissing your reply, in fact, what you said was the first thing that came to mind when I read his post as well - I was just pointing out to the the original poster that it does not hide them if that particular option is selected in the explorer preferences...

Tropsoft made it, though it looks like they've stopped carrying it specifically. Dunno which of their new versions closest resembles Stealth, though I would guess it be the better one.
