    is there an adapter or extension i can use to use the same set of speakers for 2 computers, i really don't want to buy another set of speakers yet, so im wondering if this type of adapter is available...hola back

    it is called a mixer - but what you pay for a mixer you can buy 100 pairs of cheap computer speakers ...

    well you can get 15$ anyway mixers ...

    or just Y the outputs -- not really going to hurt anything

    thats what i meant, where can i get one of these y outputs from, i dont want the mixer, what are those y outputs for this type situation called...holla back

    I think they are just called Y adapters. You can find them in any electronics store.

    or the old way -- strip the wires and twist them together ..

    That's how I would do it, but then again I'm just kind of lazy and don't want to take the time to find any adaptors.
