    When I try to mux m2v and ac3 files as DVD, I get the "Need to split output but there appears to be no %d in the filename pattern" error message.

    I read through the forum, and this is said to have been fixed in an earlier version of ffmpegX, but I'm using 0.0.9s on 10.3.7. I also reinstalled mencoder and mplayer when I upgraded to 0.0.9s.

    Any ideas?

    Make sure that "Split" is turned off.

    It's off. I don't have any checkboxes on the tools panel selected except "Keep elementary streams."
