Just a few questions,
1.) Does the new version of SVCD2DVD take any non-standard framerates?
I have over 200 avi's all encoded Divx, that are 14.985fps (half NTSC).
I can either get an error, or bypass the error, and get mpeg's that play double speed, or audio that plays double speed, or besweet crashes.
2.) Any option to use something like ffmpeggui instead, and go directly to DD2.0 AC3?
3.) Any option to NOT do audio at all?
4.) Can I frameserve from virtualdub to the new version directly?
5.) Can I import separate audio and video streams in case I want to mux?
6.) Can I output separate streams, to mux during authoring?
TIA

Well as far as avi assets are concerned, DVD compliant VOBs are created.... So:
1: FPS need to be PAL/NTSC or NTSC Film.
2: mpegs produced can have AC3 2.0 but only in a program stream.
3: program streams are produced i.e vobs.
4: Not at this time.
5: Not currently but is certainly on the todo list.
6: No. The authoring is done by svcd2dvd so there is no need for this stage. I assume this is for authoring with other apps?
Not too positive answers I'm afraid!SVCD2DVD v2.5, AVI/MPEG/HDTV/AviSynth/h264->DVD, PAL->NTSC conversion.

Well...almost speechless. Sorry.
6, yes.
I may convert my avi's to 29.97 in vdub, save uncompressed and see how that goes (just for fun).
Thanks for the honest answersCheers, Jim
