  1. I was thinking...
I don't know if there is such software, but it would be nice if there was a software that was able to compress a full DVD with menus, extras, subtitles, audio tracks to divx (xvid) creating a file that could be decompressed and record back to a DVD.
So, we could download a file with, let's say, 1.5GB containing a full DVD (movie, extras, makinf off, etc) and generate dvd again.
If that software exists, does anybody know what?
If doesn't, does anybody accept the challenge to create it?

    Thanks.

  2. Compressing movies and put it on the web means WAREZ.

Such a software is a waste of time and means quality loss.

  3. There are numerous bits of software that will do what you want.
Check the tools section for DVD > avi, and vob > dvd.

I think I wasn't clear. I didn't mean a software that convert the movie, but the whole DVD.

Warez means illegal copy and not the proccess of copy.

Almost all DVD9->DVD5 copies aren't lossless.

If it looks like a duck and sounds like a duck, then it must be a duck.

I think this thread is finished

No warez discussions ...even tiptoeing around it.
