I purchased an official copy of TMPEnc about 2 years ago. I have replaced a few hard drives since then. Recently I have tried to use this program. Loading the original version first then adding the newer release (as instructed by their website). But I can't enter a serial number in the newer version to release the MPEG-2 encoding options. What am I doing wrong??

If I recall correctly, once you've entered the registration key, all future installs see it in the registry and continue on their merry way. Thus if you entered the key for your original version, all future versions installed are "automatically" registered.

That's what I thought. But it doesn't seem to be working that way.

Have you contacted the Vendor yet? I would send an email to them.
