  1. hey what's up everyone...i'm really new to all of this and i'v eread a bunch of posts but i can't find a particular answer so i thought it might be better if i just made a post. i've been using Nerovision express 3. recently i obtained a foreign film with subtitles that open in DirectVobSub. I tried to burn the film but the subtitles do not show up. the file is a an .avi file and there is an extra file with it in it's folder. is there a way to burn the film with the subtitles? another question i have is i have a foreign film with no english subtitles. is there any program or way of getting english subtitles for the film. Lastly...i have many other movies that are split into two files. is it possible to merge them as one file so there is no missed scenes or spaces and the movie will just play straight through?

  2. 1.) You can burn with subs, if you use the right authoring tool. Try DVDLab Pro.
2.) Look for other subs on the internet.
3.) Join them in virtualdub, or encode and join them in your authoring app.
