My pops just picked up a Sony DVP-NS575P standalone, and we're having headaches getting backups to play. About 35-40 minutes into every disc I try, it freezes up. Store bought discs play fine however. I'm using TDK DVD+R media, and have not experienced any problems before now. I have a Plextor 708A and use nero 6.6 to burn. This is the first time I have had any issues with my backups. The odd thing is that they play fine up until about 35 minutes or so, then just freeze.

Any ideas?
