  1. does anyone use this program for muxing files for the 642,,and have success with it??

  2. look guys i have success as that the movie will play,,but if i ff or time jump,,it gets way outta sync right then,,so i need some successful muxing settings for it,,,,oh and what does the rec list do?

    Try loading the standalone mp3/AC3 profile that comes with it. Filesizes will be a little bigger but it should definatly play/seek fine.

    Just yesterday I threw this progam away. No matter what I tried it wouldn't create a clean AVI.
    The PC could start playing them but kept generating errors, none of my DIVX standalone players would accept them.
    I went back to using VirtualDubMod to mux AVIs instead - perfect results every time, playable by all devices.

  7. my player accepts them,,just when i ff or time jump it goes way way outta sync,,,i found the profiles folder and associated the amg files with avi mux,,then clicked the avi profile,,is that the right way to load the profile???i've used vdub mod but if its vbr it keeps gettin outta sync until i press the menu button on the 642,but its every few minutes,which sucks

    I always found it easier just to drag and drop the profile. Sounds like maybe there are just some issues with your player. Well aside from all the issues that go along with VBR mp3 in avi.
