What does this Msg mean?!?!

Using DVD Decrypter. Trying to backup my store bought "The Spy Who Loved Me". Got the below msg and hit CANCEL a few times, the "Region" screen came up and I clicked OK. Started to rip the files and then got this:

I/O Error!

Interpretation: Check Condition

Interpretation: No Seek Complete

And then asks to ABORT, RETRY or IGNORE

What's going on here? Been backing up DVD's for awhile and this is the first time I got this.

Do you have a DVD-Rom installed on that computer? If so try ripping with it. If not sounds like a hardware issue or corruption issue in the OS.
