I bought a new sound card replacing my existing sound blaster card. The Sound Blaster Live i bought only has 1 AUX-In connection. As in my old sound card hade 3 (AUX-IN, CD-IN, TAD). I have my cd-rw in 1 connection, DVD-rw in the AUX-in and there was something plugged in the TAD. So what the hell am i suppose to do?

  2. If you go to the CD/DVD-ROM drive properties and select ENABLE DIGITAL CD AUDIO, you won't need to actually plug it into the soundcard. That's why soundcards don't provide nearly as many inputs as they used to.

the Creative software that came with it sucks, is there an alternatative in playing music? The Creative software wont let me open the equlaizer to adjust anything. I am using Win Media Player which sound better than the Creative. But i am getting static/noise every once in a while during any song i play.

You should mute any input/output you are not using. I get noise interference from the microphone input on my soundcard so I leave it muted.
