  1. I recently purchased Sony's Vegas 5, which has DVD Architect and when I make DVD's, the play, scene selection, etc. buttons appear when I make the DVD, but when I play the DVD (after it burns) in a player, the play buttons are invisible. You can still select the buttons, but they are invisible. How do I fix this?

I have used this product for a while and I have never run across this problem.

When you create the DVD, try playing it (the files in your VIDEO_TS folder) with a software player. Do the buttons appear on it?

I haven't the foggiest idea why your buttons are disappearing.

  3. I can't find the folder that it says it is putting the temporary DVD files...this might be why the buttons don't appear....I'll try burning a DVD by sending the temp files to another folder

  4. the button settings are on the right of the screen . there are two setting tabs, one for properties, the other for compilations(music). in the properties view, you'll see a button properties option. i usually choose text only because i make multiple music compilations with many buttons. under the "highlight" tab, mine is set to rectangle. with an image, you might have to play with the mask settings. test with an rw .
