Hi all,
I have a movie with resolution 352x272 and I want to resize it to 352x288 (standard PAL resolution). I don't want to do this by encoding this once again (quality, time). So is there possibility to add borders (8 pixels up and 8 pixels down)? And if there is what software is able to do this. I would prefer freeware (for example TMPGEnc). But no encoding, just to add borders.
Thanks in advance!

If you want to add borders you have to reencode. There is no other way.

Allright, I'm just a little bit suprised by this. You could think that this is easily done with any software on market and I cannot see why this has to be done only by re-encoding the movie. (=stupid me)
But anyway ... thanks for your quick response! =)
(gonna spend next 8 hours re-encoding this mpeg)
Cheers,
EpiMann
