  1. I used the latest edition of WinAVI and Nero to make a SVCD of a movie called thirteen for my friend who has no computer know how, but she said when she palyed it the picture was all screwed up and funny colours, but the sound was fine. Anyone have any ideas what the hek went wrong?!?!?

She has this home DVD player. http://www.magnasonic.ca/index/screen/products_3/model_ID/1761.html

  2. Well, maybe you should encode to vcd or have her obtain another cheap player like the Philips DVP642. The specs don't say that her player is svcd compatible.

  4. Ya know I didn't even try it on the comp to see if it worked. I just played the mpeg that winavi made and that was fine, but I never tried the CD.

The specs on the bottom list SVCD as one of the formats that Magnasonic player plays.
