I am tring to backup my dvd of the Lion King Special Edition.

I have chosen to backup just the sepecial edition movie with both DTS and 5.1 Audio tracks.

In the Stream preferences for audio I have chosen Dolby AC-3 (5.1) to be the default soundtrack when the movie plays. But for some reason when I play the backed up DVD it always plays the DTS track as the default which I do not want.

I noticed that clonecdvd2 audio has
    1. DTS
    2. Ac3 3/2 (5.1)

so no mater which audio track is selected in CloneDvd it will always choose the one it has listeed as track 1 as your prefered audio track, even if you want track 2 as default.

I have tried both clone dvd 2.5.4.3 and 2.7.1.1 and both produce the same result. I always get DTS as the default audio on my backed up dvd. even if I choose track 2.AC3/2 as my Prefered audio.

can anybody suggest another program I might be able to try that may work correctly with this particular dvd with both dts and 5.1 but have the 5.1 as the default audio track?

How do you make a default soundtrack in the first place?
