I just successfully made my first VCD last night from an MPEG file. When playing on my DVD player, the quality is poor. I am using Nero 5.5. Is there a way to improve the quality of the video so it doesnt appear so blurry on my television ?

Try the sharpen image filter in TMPGenc if it is the blurriness that bothers you...I think I usually set it around 20....

Don't use NERO to encode your video, use TMPGEnc and import the resultant file to NERO.
