i just got a himage dvd recorder ran into problem

ok i just got this thing
himage dvr 4010 (+R)
i got it hooked up
burnt a dvd from vhs
it seemed to work fine
i could watch what i just capped
then i finalized it
and now it doesnt work on the recorder or my philips dvp642 and another1
i tried two different brand dvd+r too
so does anybody know what my problem could be?
im really stressin as you could amagine

Is the Himage model number correct? I could not find any information on a "himage dvr 4010"? Is this a US model? Found a website for a company in HONG KONG, but no such model number could be found.

I have also bought a himage 4010 yet can't find anything on it! Zellers use to sell it but i see there getting out of that product line. The Hong Kong site doesn't even list it maybe someone out there might know of a site that could help. I have no problem recording or Playback(Touch wood). I know sometimes it thinks for a sec. or two then loads but otherwise no problem!!!
