DVD or Player problem?

Bought a new DVD the other day. Played fine on my dvd player until the 1'36 spot, where the image just freeze itself. I can go to the next chapter, where it freeze too. After those 2 spots, the movie runs fine.

It seems to be the DVD itself. What's the problem? Any way to fix the problem?

Replace the dvd where you bought it.

Try the DVD in another player (friend, neighbor or famly member's if you only have one player)


Wipe the DVD off with dry cloth (don't wipe circular...go from left to right or right to left)



I've had situations where it was the player...and others where it was the DVD (and it's very common to get a defective or scratched DVD...especially if you rent 'em).

It's usually the DVD if it freezes in same spots.
