    Hi all,

    I'm looking for a sw that would trim M2V/LPCM demuxed streams (cut out comercials), saving the diferent parts without reencoding.

    It seems that Premiere Pro, even with the MC plug-in instaled, requires reencoding.....

    Please, any recomendation about a sw that would do that ?
    My capture program captures demuxed M2V/LPCM streams, and I need to cut comercials out, saving the diferent trimmed parts without reencoding;

    Thanks,

    Zetti

  2. Any decent audio editor will allow you to cut/trim/edit the LPCM stream.

    Womble mpeg video wiard is good for cutting the m2v stream.

    Never tried it with m2v and LPCM audio together, but chances are it will do that too.

    Cuttermaran can handle M2V and LPCM (as a .wav file).

    Thanks, I'll try as well;

    Am I wrong or is it true that none of the advanced editors like Vegas or PP makes it ?

  6. I think Vegas can frame-accurately edit MPEG2 without re-encoding, but I'm not certain. I use Womble MPEG Video Wizard for that (no need to demux first).
