I'm getting this error when I try and get the wave file from my movie screener Hotel Rwanda.."the requested audio compression is not compatable with the input formate. Check that the sampling rate and channel count of the input match those of the requested formate."
I've have the audio set at no comresion (PCM)
Audio stream rate 48000Hz 5 channel stereo
Video stream decompressor XviD Mpeg-4 codec
Need help on this one , I also have Tmpeg & have heard I can use it but always have used Virtual Dub so I dont know how?
Thanks all for you tips & help.
Well I found something that I'm no good at.

  2. not sure you're supposed to have that/copy it BUT that's not my call (attn. mods)

i'd try loading it into VDub and loading it up into GSpot to find out the decoder required for the audio format.
My AVI -> Any Format Guide is available here.
My Frame Resize Calculator (enhanced for Virtualdub) is available here

  3. Audio stream rate 48000Hz 5 channel stereo
This makes it Dolby AC3, or ogg, no?
    Try virtualdub-mod or virtualdub-ac3.

Correct reboot, Dolby AC3, still working on getting it worked out, but its looking better thanks.

No hockey... canadian's have to stick together, thanks again

  5. I see that virtualdub-ac3 isn't listed in the tools section yet. Google it, and download. It'll rip the audio just like regular vdub.
