Hi People,
I have read in various posts that it's possible for TMPGEnc to shutdown your PC when it has finished encoding. but none of them actually mentions how to do it. I have searched through the various options in TMPGEnc, but can't find anything similar to this.
The reason for this is I'm running a paltry Celeron 400, and as you can imagine it takes hours to encode AVIs which have been captured using, for example, the HUFFYUV codec. So it would be nice to start it going and go to bed/work/whatever.
Apologies if this is a bit obvious, but I have tried thoroughly searching the forums, FAQs etc, but can only find stuff about batch encoding, and I just want to do one at a time (life's too short
Thanks for any help you can give.

You can only use the shutdown facility when using the batch encode. Load you template and instead of clicking the start button do the following :
Click file->add current project to batch list->mpeg file
Choose where you want to save your file to and click save.
Now click run, the application will start the encode process and shutdown checkbox will apear.

Start the encoding as follwows:
file> output to file> MPEG file >>save.
