I'm trying to play an avi file that requires the ms mpeg4 codecs and the timer freezes and jumps resulting in the people moving quickly then freezing. The file plays in Nero 6's Showtime, but not WMP. Thanks for your help, -MIKE

Open the file with gSpot and see what codecs are required and if you have those codecs installed.
