    I have bought a lifeview PAL/NTSC convert for my PC and TV out works fine for the screen but when I play movies (Windows Media play and Powerplay DVD) I dont get the movie displaying on the TV Just a black screen .
    Please help

    Similar problem with my Videologic DVD Player card - it plays VCD, DVDs OK in the TV output, but won't play AVI, DIVX etc (well, it shows them on-screen - but not in the TV out).

    I have a similar problem.
    WMP7.1 will not display movie on TV (sound is ok).
    I tried with RealPlayer: It works. But RealPlayer does not support as many movie formats as WMP.
