Hi there,
I am in process of transfering 8 mmm tapes from Sony analog camcorder to DVD-R. I wonder should I digitize then first by transfering them to my mini DV Canon Z-80 first then dubb them to DVD-R?
Or, is O.K. to record them directly to DVD-R by using analog front inputs for transfer ?
I an new owner of Toshiba DR2 and I ma noty sure which method works better.
Thanks for your help.
J.

I also have an analog camera,,(8mm). I just hook it up directly to my dvd recorder via the front inputs. I get a recording just as good as the original.
