Then I'm lost, unfortunately. Had it been 2 channel, you could've used any audio editor like Goldwave.

  7. Yes, Audacity can except a 6 channel wave file (Kristal Audio Engine, cannot), but when you go to save your edited work it states that it will be mixed down to two channels. The only way you could edit with Audacity would be to save each of the 6 tracks to a mono wave file, and make up a text ***.mux file, and use BeSweetGUI ( a front end for BeSweet) to convert this to a DD5.1 ***.ac3 file. I was having a problem finding a program to combine (merge) two DD5.1 ***.ac3 file’s (or two 6 channel wave files) into one, and found out you can do this with BeSweetGUI using the “Batch Mode” function. First you just setup BeSweetGUI as if you were going to just be converting one DD5.1 ***.ac3 file (or a 6 channel wave file). You then just press on the “Batch Mode” button and a new window opens. Then you drag-N-drop your two (or more) DD5.1 ***.ac3 file’s (or 6 channel wave files) into the window, and press the “BeSweet’s List -> Single AC3” button, and it merges your two files into one DD5.1 ***.ac3 file, using the Output file you have setup in the BeSweetGUI. Now to cut, or trim a DD5.1 ***.ac3 file (or 6 channel wave file) you can use BeSplit, and the GUI front end for it called Well Being's Intelligent Audio Splitter (WBIAS). WBIAS requires that you have WinAmp 2.80 installed, and the WinAmp Dolby Digital AC3 plug-in installed (WinampAC3 Ver 0.60b). The instructions on how to use WBIAS are included in the download, and it also has the BeSplit program included. There may be other programs to do all of this, but the one's mentioned above work, and are all free.
