It all started several years ago. I had heard that you could play movies on a PC that were recorded on a CD. So I searched the net for some info(yes one of the few searches that I have done) Somehow I wound up here. I read a few guides and how tos' and downloaded all of the free apps that my poor old system could handle. As luck would have it I came during a big flame war. Being the curious type I had to keep coming back to see how the war was going. Well before one war would die down another would start up and I had to follow it too. I lurked in the shadows for at least two years or more off and on following the flamings and even a few educational threads. Just about anything that I could want to know about video was at hand without even having to ask (post) a question. Then one night on a demolition job I got nine "DOT-X" monitors. I wanted to be able to stack them 3x3 and have them all combine to make one picture or each do different pictures or chase each other in sequence or play tic-tac-toe or any other neat trick that was out there. So being that I knew of this site that had all of these video experts I joined to ask a question. I asked. And I think that Smokey808 was the first to reply. He called me a theif! And I felt welcomed to the tribe! (I actually got a few links to multi head cards and such) I never did get the damb monitors hooked up like I want. I use one with my PC and two for the kids games and got two out on loan. I don't know the official amount of time before I can repost the same question, so I have to wait for an answer.

I came here for a while and updated what media worked in which systems and what burners did well at burning media that wroks on certain systems. I try to find home standalone systems that truly are not accepting burned discs and see if I can find a siftware, media combo that works the best for it and then input the information here. It seems that very few people (NOOBS) let people know what works when they have their answer.

I used to browse OT and then started to post a bit when I decided to register with the site. Since then, it's become a way to pass the time while my system is processing other information. If I gotta sit for 5-15 minutes for something constantly, I'm not going to twiddle my thumbs. My wife gets upset when I masturbate, so I gotta pass the time somehow, and I'm not allowed to drink at work.

Work has had me really busy lately... weekends and some nites too...

But... I come back to the OT, and forum in general, to keep up with some of my post whore friends and their latest news.

We'll probably go to Sam's Club or Super Walmart, but it's not too bad of a list. This is the mid-month list which is larger because it covers most of our monthly needs. We'll go back in about 2 weeks to get Milk, juice and a few other odd neccessities.
