Dvd-r Media

Well how are everybody doing, i'm new here but i read forums everyday, anyway i'm from venezuela and latetly had been hard to find dvd-r here, so i found some brands maybe u had burned those , this are the brands:

*SKC DVD-R 4.7GB single-sided 4x? is it good? it's a 25dvd-r spindle
*Ridex DVD-R 4.7 GB 4x, it's a 50 dvd-r spindle, is it good?
*V-MAX DVD-R 4.7 GB 8X, 50 dvd-r spindle? how about this v-max
*Ritek dvd-r 4.7 gb 4x, 25 dvd-r spindle, the famous g04, but latetly i've been reading that sucks, is it true?
*Matrix dvd-r 4.7 gb, 50 dvd-r spindle, 8x
And finally
*Optodisc 4x dvd-r, 50 dvd-r spindle
Hope can help me about this media, cause i need to know which is the best, cause here are really expensive, however i forgot to tell that i have a LG gsa-4120b drive

Out of the choices you listed, I'd still have to suggest the Ritek G04's. I know some have had trouble, but I think that in the grand scheme of things they are still generally going to be decent discs, especially in comparison to the other options you listed. Optodisc is generally complete junk in my experience, Matrix is likely going to be something cheap such as AN32, which are of marginal quality. SKC I think are also cheap generics, don't even know what V-MAX or Ridex is (did you mean Ritek or Ridata?).

I'd just start out by trying a 25 pack of the G04s, if they work well then go from there.

Do NOT consider the SKC DVD-R 4.7GB single-sided 4x. Having big troubles with this media in Australia.
