Now here goes.. im going to be doing A LOT of video editing, capturing & using lots of programs.. what is the best way to format the drives? Do i put all my programs on one drive, capture off another drive? I'm not sure what is the best way. So i'll take advice from all of you. thanks

If these are the only two hard drives that you'll have in the PC, I would choose to partition one drive with about 20GB for OS, basic apps and paging file (C: drive). The rest of the drive I'd leave for your documents, downloads and major applications as well as your encoding source. The second hard drive I'd format as one big partition and use for encoding. I'd format all the partitions NTFS.
Nothing can stop me now, 'cause I don't care anymore. -

If you're going to use 3 drives I'd setup the first one the same as above and stripe the other two if you're mainly encoding to it and not saving anything critical on the array.
