  1. I have a few mpg-files that make some trouble for me. when I play them in Windows media-player, I can only play about 5-10% of the files. And when I try to encode into mpeg2, TMPGEnc just encodes the same 5-10 % of the files.
I know there's more (much more), because when I play the files on VLC (VideoLAN), I can watch the whole movie.

I guess the file(s) are merged into one big file or something, and thats the reason why I can't encode the whole file?

I have to say that I have no problem encoding avis, or the the most MPG-files. It's just two or three, files that gives me trouble.

    Any solutins there?

    Thanx in advance

  2. try and use the mpeg tools in tmpgenc, to demux them, then remux them

if that doesn't work, try the demuxing engine in dvd lab pro if you have that, which is what i use to demux troublesome files. It seems to be a brute for that.
Some people are only alive because it may be illegal to kill them
