  1. No matter how many anti-static rags and Endust for electronics I use, I always end up with some small specks of lint or dust that show up in my scanned images. Granted they are tiny and I have gotten them down to a tiny few, but they are still there. Am I being too picky? Anyone have any good tips?

    Thanks.

Compressed air cans when done wiping ... blow off lint.

Do not blow with your spit-filled mouth

    Easy.

  5. This reminded me of when I got my first scanner. I got one of those ones that you feed the picture through rather than a flat bed. I soon learned the problem with the feed type; even the smallest spec of dust shows up as a line all the way through the picture.

Programs like paint shop pro and photoshop have a clone tool that lets you cover the area of the spot with a cloned image thats next to the spot.
