Pioneer 57H/520H owners

What are the major differences between these 2 units, other than price? Can you record directly to the dvd on either unit? What about the noise factor - either one quiter than the other? I had a couple of dish pvr's, but had to return them due to excessive noise.

I have the Pioneer 510H. The 57H and 520H are very different units. The 57H combines Tivo with a DVD recorder. It, however, lacks many of the features of the Tivo-less 520H.

You can download manuals for the 520 and the 810 (which is much like the 57) from Pioneer. A link is in the sticky at the top of this forum.
