I have the Aerocool Gatewatch fan controller temp monitor, The problem is the only fan I am able to hook up to it is the CPU fan. My case fan has a regulor power connector like that on a IDE device, and I have the ATI AIW 9600XT video card, the fan on it has only a small 2 prong connection.

    My question is:
Does anyone make an adaptor that I can use to connect these fans to the Aerocool Gatewatch wich has the same connectors like if you were connecting the fan to the MB.

  2. When I bought a new case fan in Nov. it came with such an adapter. I'd check newegg.

Are the headers on that fan controller 3-pin? You need a speed-sensing fan for that if you want the controller to alter/monitor speed on those. If the fan only has a 2-wire tail you probably don't want to mess with using it on a fan controller. Also check to see if your controller can handle 120mm fans if you're using them. Some controllers don't like the low RPMs those fans run at.

It has 4 headers all 3 pin and 4 temp sensors, (which is basicaly the end of a wire that you "tape" were you wan to sense the temp) that coralate to the fan. And I'm pretty sure it will work for 120mm fans (I don't have one anyway, yet) I believe the min RPM is 800 or 900.

Make sure to get 3-pin fans then. I recommend getting fans from either

    www.sidewindercomputers.com
    or
    www.frozencpu.com

I've purchased plenty from both. If you need some recommendations just ask, just be sure to let me know how the fan will be used. There are different applications for different fans.
