If I was a Billionaire, I would spend a few billion on getting the Star Wars preqel trilogy right.

The only two things I felt were done correctly was everything Obi Wan and the casting of Natalie Portman. I would use the most sophistcated GC ever to use those two actors footage and redo everything else. I would basically scrape everthing except the basic premise of the preqels which is Anakin's fall to the darkside and how he becomes Vader.

Everthing would be redone from the ground up.

I guess that kind of financial irresponsiblity is exactly why I will never be a billionaire or a millionaire or a thousandaire, well saddly even a mutli hundredaire seems out of my grasp.

Why do so many people have this anomisoty to the prequels???? I mean people change. Lucas isn't the same person he was when he wrote the original trilogy. He can't make it exactly the same.

And this is HIS movie. We're along for the ride.

And need I point out that all of them are or have been in the TOP 20 grossing movies of ALL TIME??????????

And besides - it's STILL STAR WARS. Nothing matches it. It's too cool to whine and complain about it since you can't change anything anyway!

It's just like people pining for the ORIGINAL ORIGINAL trilogy. It's NOT GOING TO HAPPEN on dvd so get over it!

Yeah, I am one of the suckers, I mean fans that went to see Ep 1 in the theatres three or four times.

Making money doesn't make something good. Have you heard Brittney Spears sing? She makes ass loads of money. Some of her CD's have gone Diamond.

I think Lucas isn't that good of a director. He is a great producer except that he hired himself as the director and head writer of the prequels, those are his only bad decisions as a producer.

He can't make it the same I don't want it the same the first trilogy had three director Lucas only Directed Ep 4 ANH.

But it could be better. He said he wanted Ep two to be a love story, but the love story part only provides campy entertainment , which is probably not what he was going for.

Have you seen Sky Captian there are a bunch of Stars Wars and Lucas refers. In the back ground. But the biggest is the horrid directing which was doen as an homage to Lucas' directing of the Prequels.

Lucas did and OK job of directing ANH and American Grafiti, but other than that he hasn't anything well.

I won't get into a giant argument over this. I like them and you obviously have reseravtions. That's ok.

I liked Sky Captain. It was very unique.

All I can say is that LUCAS doesn't do focus groups to find out EXACTLY what people want and for that I am grateful. I don't want cookie cutter movies when it comes to STAR WARS.

OK let's agree to disagree about Star Wars Prequels.

But Sky Capt. it was unique but, not really good.

Sin City uses the same visual style amlost but it looks much better.

Gweneth Paltrow should have had her Oscar taken away for how bad her performance was in Sky Capt.

Also there is a Korean movie that was done before Sky Captian and looks better but it hasn't made it to the USA yet.

Sky Capt could have been good but had too many problems. Special effects and visual style were interesting, but they weren't the first or last to do a movie in this style.

There is definately a market for white girls who sound white, but in general most pop is white people that think they are from the 'hood. And it sells better than the other pop becuase stiff like Ashlee simpson is sooo horrid.

I don't, but others believed the movies were magical. I like all of them but still remain practical. Each movie has it's own merits. We see films differently when we are children.

Yeah the Prequels aren't the worst movie ever I own them and went to see them in the theatre multiple times, but they could have been better.

My last RANT on them is that I want Anakin to be Vader for a least thirty minutes of the movie. vader won't get thirty minutes of screen time, but he should be Vader at the very least thirty minutes from the end of the movie.

You aren't far off. the Ewok's were actually supposed to be Wookies, but then Lucas thought that making the Wookir\es primative wouldn't make sense since Chewie can pilot a starship.

Lucas shrunk down the Wookie and made Ewoks.
