    I just use the smallest eraser. I'm sure it's possible, but I can't remember the settings. I think it has to do with setting white as transparent.

  3. You can set any color as transparent.
    I usually use black or white, they're easiest to see against your work.
    Hit SHIFT+CTRL+V to open the transparency dialog.

    along the same lines -- anyone can tell me how to make a animated jpg file like this one ? what software does it ?

    I thought they had to be GIF to be animated. Animation Shop comes with PSP.

    yea i thought so -- i think it is really a mislabled gif ..

  9. PSP Animation shop will do a gif like that.
    Download it, and open it in Animation shop, you'll see how it's done.

    i know how to make animated gifs -- hahaha , made 100's of them ..

    i was asking about animated jpegs ... the file above is labled a jpeg and windows says its a jpeg - but im sure it really a goofed up gif ..

    If I right click and click on properties it says it's a GIF. Maybe you can use whatever extension you want so long as the data is recognized.

    Especially if the associated application is the same for both. The app knows the difference as soon as it parses the header.

    and it shows up as jpeg in properties .. it must be the reg patch i did to block reading of avi files properties i suspect

    Actually,it only offers gif and bitmap as options.if i save it ,it still gets saved as a jpg anyway.????????
