I got my laptop to find my desktop's C: drive and can use the files, but I can't get the laptop to print to the desktop's printer. I've installed the Epson drivers on both machines, and enabled printer sharing on the desktop. When I try to print, the laptop tries to use the printer on lpt1 and I can't add the desktop printer to the laptop.
Any ideas?

In Control panel does the printer show up as being shared? Also when you set the printer up on the laptop, when you choose printer setup do you choose Network printer? Also make sure the printer is on prior to adding on the laptop. Could also be an issue with the way your network is setup.

You need to right-click on the printer on the desktop PC and click sharing (and security depending on the OS). Then share the printer and create a share name. From the laptop, go to Printers and add a network printer. Choose \\desktoppcname\printersharename as the path to the printer.
Nothing can stop me now, 'cause I don't care anymore. -
Hazaa!!! They should tell you in the manual that it may take a minute or two for the darn thing to print using a network.
Thanks for the help.
