Anyone know how to pick up where a encoding job left off if your computer shuts off by accident half way through an encoding job or do you have to do it all over?
thanks

If TMPGEnc has actually generated a file before you accidently shut down the pc, then I would suggest the following:
Use in the "mpeg tools" section cut/merge to see what you have "produced" so far. Cut (near the end of your feed) at a distinguishing part your finished sequence and remember where it was. You can also of course view how much time has gone by.
After this yuo go into TMPGEnc and choose "settings"--->"advanced". click on the "source range" and choose from there where TMPGEnc should start from again.
This should work ok.
