The latest scientific data has disproven that theory. However ...

    Who: Dallas ISD Emplyee
    When: Nov. 22nd 1963 am
Where: Dallas School Book Depository kicking the shit out of Lee Harvey Oswald after finding him settling into his sniper's perch. Then taking the rifle and executing a series of perfect headshots taking out the co-conspirators; the guy with the umbrella; and Zapruder -- just in case his camera was also a gun.

@ Capmaster - Pic looks awesome. I've not done anything other than Luxor (twice, 2nd time for a day only). But what a mystical place? I'd love to do Cairo (for the Giza Plateau), and Abu Simbel for the awesome monuments there.

You really should read those books - there's a link (in the author's name) to the first book of 5 on Amazon, with the other 4 listed further down the linked page.

P.S. I can just about make out that scar on your neck from where you cut yourself shaving, whilst laughing...

Daamon - Oh, that was a good laugh

Have you checked out Dr. Zahi Hawass' website? It's a good place to start if you're interested in the Giza Plateau. Our first hotel in Cairo was about 200 yards from Khufu's pyramid 8) :

We have winners!! Moviegeek and Ripper guessed it right... He was imprisoned there for the 9 months he served of a 5 year sentence for his attempted coup in 1923.... Imagine the history being rewritten if only someone would have stuck a shank in him then??

Cheers - I'll check it out. He's the top guy in Egyptology or something isn't he. I've seen him on a few documentaries.

He's the Minister of Antiquities, I think. The year prior to going, I read anything and everything from pyramid blueprints to translations of the Sakkara Pyramid Texts. I overdosed on it. That's why I'm not anxious to read any more on it. No offense
