  1. I'm writing a fictional short story about a university student who gets pissed at his professor and decides to email an executable virus attachment (like a virus.com which will be disguised as a survey , so it will be renamed survey.com) with a letter explaining that the attached survey (really a virus/trojan) is for the prof. to complete. What I need is to research where one could find a virus like this posted... that is where can I download a virus still in it's dormant form...
I have obtained a trojan called Magistr32 that is contained in an email attachment I once received by chance (where the email attachment was called "other.com&quot Now, since I want to do further research on this topic, can anyone suggest a place where I could find a place where viruses are posted still in this dormant/unexecuted form? For example, files such as file.exe, file.com, file.bat, file.scr, ...although I would PREFER if it were a .com extension, that way character in my story could more easily disguise the file as a survey... since the professor is old and naive, and would just think the attachment is a link to a web-based survey. Thank for your assistance in located files of this type... and this story is purely hypothetical, yet I would like to do proper research...

If it's a fictional story, why not make up your own virus. If you just want to get hold of a virus to send it to your own prof, please don't ask for it here...

  5. i'm sorry. usually i don't diss the poster but i've heard fictional stories like this before. most of them usually start with,"Ummmm, i have this friend, who wants.......". if its truly for only a story then i would take glinckens advise and make up one. you could make the nastiest virus then........

  7. im guessing that the poster probably told his/her friend that he could create a virus and would "hack all your machine's" and stuff.Unable to actually do this, this *lamer* decides to look for em on the net.yeah that's it.
