  1. Could people please post about their experiences with using thiss pray to coat their DVD's. I am especially interested in long term playability. Can you please tell us how long ago some disc were coated and if you have experienced any play back issues. I don't want my sprayed disc to go bad like the ones with sticky labels on them.

Also, please state if it was a DVD movie or PS2 or Xbox backup and what kind of media was used.

    Thanks

  3. I have already perfomred a search on this topic. I have read the other topics on it and I have replied in those threads. This thread is about long term playability after having using the Pat nimocks spray on a inkjet printable DVD.

the other threads are not specific to the long term playability. This is important because many of us are using the spray and the inkjet printables to replace the old DVD's with sticky labels which had long term problems which were not present at first.

  4. I don't think you'll find any responses for long term playablility. People just haven't been doing it long enough. I can tell you, after a month, I have not seen any problems. I also haven't seen any differences with scans before or after printing and spraying. I do not consider 1 month long term though

I have a few DVD's I sprayed with Krylon over a year ago and they play fine today. My kids are the ones that use those, and they have held up pretty well. Alittle scratched but still viewable.
