hi, i reciently put a few episodes of gi joe season 3 onto dvd via a vhs. the episodes all are seperated with their own vts series (like episode 1 is vts1, episode 2 is vts2, etc). is there a way for me to put the vob file into an authoring program and adjust the contrast, and brightness and darkness, etc (like what you would do in photoshop to a jpg)?

i realize premier does this, but it doesn't work w/ vob files, right? is there an authoring program that might do this, or am i going to have to strip the vob into it's audio and video files and work with those?

    any help would be appreciated.

    on another note:
i'm also looking for something to normalize the video on these too.

  2. Vegas5 does this with the 'auto levels' plug...which is a free plug if you spring for the software. And VV5 takes vob and mpg2 files.

You can drag and drop a vob into the vegas timeline, although it doesn't always take it. You cannot output a vob, so you will have to reauthor afterwards.
