  1. i have tried it in Vdub, but obviously the audio and video goes out of sync. Is there anyway to convert 25 to 23.97 witout losing sync? some one help please, there are some other ppl wif this problem

  2. It's pretty straightforward - extract the audio first, then encode the video at 23.976 instead of 25 fps.
    Then using something like CoolEdit, convert the audio speed, encode it and remux it with the original - I've done this for many PAL DivX to VCD/SVCD and it works like a champ.

    You can't hear the 4% change in speed (in fact, that's how PAL is normally created from FILM in the first place).

    A free solution is to frameserve with Avisynth

    AVIsource(".avi")
    assumeFPS(23.97,sync_audio=true)

    Thank you so much for your help. Very much appreciated, i always wanted to know if there was a program that could stretch the length of audio streams, or make them shorter without cutting any off. Thank you so much.
