Hi I was wondering if there was a software out there that allows you to rip VCDs on your mac and when they're ripped save them as .mov files

yep
VCDToolsX
I think tgpo has a link on his videohelp.com/~tgpo/ page
it will let you rip out the file as mpeg and since its a VCD you can then save movie as .mov via quicktime -
You can also use Toast 6 if you have it. Just get Disc Info on the disc in Toast, and then you can save the MPEG files. This works for VCD and SVCD. Then you can use QT pro to save as a Movie.
If you want to save as a DV file, Toast will do that also. -
So does anyone hae the VCDToolsX link? galactica, i found one under your guide but the link didn't work.
