I am sure this must have been discussed a lot in the past but since I own an analog videocamera for the moment, can you please tell me the minimum creteria to chose a digital videocamera model ? For the moment I want a low cost one, since I suppose that new models with a lot of features will come soon with relatively low cost.
Thank you in advance

For minimum cost any Sony Digital 8 will do. There dirt cheap but were quite a bit even 2 or 3 years ago.
