  1. hey i need some help converting a divx to vcd

the size of the divx 613MB....i tried converting it to vcd and it came out to 850 megs...i downsampled the sound to 192K (from 224K)

i tried using it as CQ_VB and it came out to 830 megs....

its a 2 part divx so when i encode both to vcd it come out to almost 1.7 gigz (too big for 2 cds)

is there a way to get it smaller without sacrifising quality (the quality of the divx is average, nothing great, but not too crappy)

    thanks

  4. That's your prob, with VCD spec settings and 80Min CD can hold 80min of video (ignore the Mb space when doing VCD). You could try to overburn or use 90min media.
