Using dvd2svcd in avi2dvd mode. Starting with a 4.1 gig avi file as the source. My final dvd video files are fine and play well. Trouble is the audio is missing at about halfway through the movie. Audio is fine up to that point.
In the AUDIO tab of dvd2svcd(avi2dvd) there is a selection for AVI Audio Extraction which is set on "VFW (audio <2 GB)". Is this indicating that audio can't be extracted from a source file larger than 2 GB? There is another selectable option here called "INTERNAL". Would selecting this make a difference?
Some other information:
1. All of the audio is present in the source file. That has been verified.
2. Dvd2svcd (actually one of its subordinates) creates an audio1.wav file during the process. This file only contains audio for about the first half of the movie.
3. My dvd2svcd log file shows no errors.
Any help in figuring out why audio is missing would be appreciated.
