  1. I am using Rejig to compress Mpgs that are larger than 2 hours to fit on one DVD-R. I am having a problem with the Audio/Video out of sync when I burn the DVD and play it in my player. Here are the steps to Compress the files, please let me know if I am doing something wrong or if I should use other tools to do the same job

    mpg file duration 2:22 min
    - I Open TmpGenc -> Mpeg Tools -> Simple De-Multiplex to get a video and audio files
    - I open Rejig and open the Video file(.m2v) to compress at 95%
    - I use TmpGenc again -> Mpeg Tools - Simple Multiplex to group the audio and compressed video into a single Mpeg file
    - I use Nero to encode that Mpeg file into DVD-R format

Both audio and video are out of syn after 15 min of running the movie, can you please help

    Thanks

  2. what is your source file? I don't use Rejig but if not mistaken, you can do everything in it for what you're doing (in File mode, i think). demux/remux with audio ac3 delay correction, reauthor and then burn with another program. Look to the left for the rejig guide.

I've never had sync problems using rejig but i predominately use dvd shirnk to transcode dvd files to fit. Try authoring the uncompressed mpeg to your hard drive and shrink it with dvdshrink.

Click on the word dvdshrink and look halfway down the page and you will see several guides for dvdshrink.
