  1. Hi all.
A little question: I have to edit the audio (mp3) track of a divx movie, in particular:
    1) add another audio track (always encoded in mp3)
    2) cut the first and insert between the cuts some parts of the 2nd audio track
    3) The result "should" be a movie with the same video quality, and only one (edited) audio track.

Is this procedure available only with FCP or FCE ? It's not a problem for me as I have FCE, but I'd like to avoid the long time spent for rendering both video and audio...

    Thanks in advance, Cett1

Actually you could accomplish this one of two ways:

the first, would be to use QT Pro with the 3ivx and
divx codecs installed. Split the movie into its two
formats, video and audio. Edit the audio as necessary.
Add scaled the video to the new audio, and your done.

If you want to do this in FCE, you will need to export out of QT Pro the avi as a movie file, then import thus avoiding FCE re-rendering the file to its liking....
